barbell row with wrap around towel for thick grip training

If you don't have a thick barbell, try wrapping a towel around the barbell to increase the bar size.

Your hands will struggle tremendously with this method and it's excellent for working the hands and back at the same time.

For extended sets you can remove the towel once your hands have fatigued and then continue for some extra reps with the barbell.
