10/31- ME Bench w/video and a couple of Halloween pictures
Trinity’s company had a Halloween party on Thursday night. I often watch Vision Quest before my meets and thought dressing like the coach from it would be funny and unique, even though no one would have a clue who I was. Trinity dressed up as an 80s rocker, similar to Madonna from Vision Quest. After having gained some weight I realized that I may have been exposing myself a little too much to the public in my singlet, so I opted for something different for the party we went to on Halloween (see below). I think that maybe I should have stuck with the coach look haha!
5 weeks out from the APF Southern States
Flat bench- 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x3, 275x1, 315x1 w/dd- 405x1/2 3 board- 495x1 2 board- 575x1 605x1, I missed this last week so I was pretty happy with this.
Shoulder rotation w/tubing x15x2 in each direction.
Lockouts/pin presses- 315x5, 405x5, 495x5, 515x5
Fat bar floor press- 225x5, 275x5 My left shoulder was holding up pretty well until this so I quit while I was ahead.
Here’s my attempt at Billy Idol (notice the snarl). I was still sticking with the 80s rocker theme but without the wig I looked a little too much like a village person. I guess I could have shaved the goatee to make it look more convincing, but I wasn't willing to do that. Tom said I showed that I had a lot of confidence to where this costume but I attribute it more to drinking a lot.
It’s all in good fun,
