Hey Joe, I'm looking forward to Built Like A Badass, thanks for all your great work.
I was wondering, I know that alot of your athletes are combining 5/3/1 and the WSFSB for the accessory work.
My question is how long do you usually keep guys on this, indefinitely? Do you prefer 5/3/1 for your clients as oppossed to using Max Effort type work now? I'd just like to hear your opinion, and maybe the pros and cons of each in your own words.
Greg, Generally speaking, I like combining 5/3/1 with the WS4SB accessory work for athletes that are training with us "long-term".
I still prefer "traditional" max-effort work for our summer athletes, Combine athletes, etc.
I feel that "traditional" max-effort works gets quicker results, whereas Jim's 5/3/1 is better for slow and steady progress (for "long-term") clients.
Simply put, BOTH variations work...you just need to know WHEN & WHO to use each variation with!

We are days away from the BUILT LIKE A BADASS ebook...the program is SICK!, Joe Defranco
