I'm a d1 college linebacker, trying to gain as much good weight as possible. The problem is at 5'11" the heaviest I can possibly get naturally is about 226 lbs. I want to be at least 240. At my heaviest this summer, I was taking in 6000 cals per day, supplementing with creatine, fish oils, flaxseed oil, multivitamin, and basically eating my ass off and I did Joe Defrancos WSFSB program. I'm 21 years old, and I'm thinking about taking some more powerful "supplements" if you know what I mean. But, I would like to get up to about 240 naturally. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, but please don't just tell me just to eat more, or that I don't need to get that heavy. Thank you guys for all your help.
Matt,
What is it you want to hear? Eating more is the ONLY way you gain weight. I would be more concerned about being in a DI football program that doesn't give you workouts to do during the summer, but that's just me.
