We usually use a monolift when we are squatting with bands, however there is an occasion where we only have access to the EliteFTS 2x2 power rack. What is the best way to setup the bands using this rack for squats and still get close to the same amount of tension we would get from the base of the monolift?

There are too many variables and in my opinion, it's just not worth going thru it. My best advice is to not use bands when you're not in the monolift.

Unless you want to get out the slide rule and compass to figure out the exact tensions of each band, there's really no way to accurately figure this out. If it becomes a more regular occurance, I'd just set up the bands as closely as possible to how the monolift feels. Again, if it's not the monolift, it's just going to be different.

I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's how it is.

I'm useless,
Matt Rhodes
