Bench 11-8
Bench 135x6,225x4,315x3,(shirt on)495x3(3-board),605x2(2-board),675x1(1-board)
Lat pulls 90x10,200x10,300x10
Pushdowns 90x10,140x10,180x12
EZ bar curls 45x10,110x10,160x10
I felt pretty good in my shirt and I wanted to go higher than the 675x1 off a 1-board but I only had one spotter to lift off, we had to tie the boards to my chest with a knee wrap and I had no side spotters at all. Fortunately this week I should have a handful of guys out to train so spotters won't be an issue.
For those of you that follow my log regularly you probably noticed that I'm going back to doing upper body assistance work after my benching. I have eliminated my "arm day" and will instead be doing my upper back and arm work twice a week, once after benching and again on Wednesdays. This will consist of just one exercise per body part and I will perform different exercises on each of the days trying to hit the same muscles from different angles. The reason for doing this is to focus more effort on my main three (squat, bench and deads) and to give myself a little more rest since I will be training five days per week instead of six.
