11/19/2009 4:05:04 PM - Jerry
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Im having some hip pain, from the anatomy pictures I looked up I think its the sartorius? The pain is in the front essentially where it feel like the femor and hip meet. When back squatting, it really bothers me when Im at the bottom of the movement ready to come out of the hole. I was boxing and would notice it would hurt from rotation as well. What can I do about this? thanks --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jerry,
Have someone look at it. Impossible to tell over the internet. Especially since you don't know. You say you "think" its the sartorius, but you're not sure. Then how should I know? Someone who is skilled in A.R.T. would possibly be the person, you'd have the best luck with.
In reply, I'm not looking for a diagnosis, as I know its impossible over th internet.
I was hoping you could recommend some stretching or ROM excercises I could go through before squating/after to help the hip area.
Jerry,
You didn't ask that. Now that you have made clear what you'd like, may I suggest doing Joe DeFranco's Agile 8.
It has worked wonders for many
