Looking to compete in my first PL meet. I will be competing raw. I was wondering if the Metal Powerlifting Singlet is any different then the old wrestling singlets I have sitting in my drawer? Also, which belt would you reccommend as an all good belt all around? I weigh 165 and am 5'6" if that alters which belt you would reccommend.

Hi David,

Good luck with your first competition! The material of the metal singlet might be a little different than your others. It also has a Metal Logo on it. But other than that it is essentially the same.

As far as a belt, I highly recommend the Elite P2 Belt. It is top notch, and will last you for a long time. Due to your size and experience, you might prefer the 6.5mm belt. It is not as thick as the 13mm which will make it easier to use. The 13mm might be too bulky for you right now.
