Hey Team,
I've got my first meet coming up this weekend. I am jacked about it. My question is about the week after the meet. Should I take a week off, start back slowly into another training cycle or go full bore? Thanks


I will typically take a week off following a meet, then slowly work back to hard training over the next month or so.

Competition is extremely stressful to your body because the competitive environment usually pushes you past your normal limits. After a meet your body needs and deserves a break.
