That's awesome! And thanks for the tips, I was thinking about USPA since I could use the EFS heavy knee sleeves because they're single ply for raw without wraps. What were your numbers the first time you competed?
That would be a good first fed for you to try and I would double check with USPA if you can use those knee sleeves. Sometimes they have to be neoprene, but I'm unsure what the USPA states in their rules (you'll see it in their rulebook).
The first time I competed was in a push/pull and I hit a 270 bench and 485 deadlift at 148. I've come a long way since then and have really learned a lot about training smart and listening to your body. It was a fun first meet and I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to give it a shot.
