Thanks for the reply Mark.

I lift at a warehouse gym. They have other benches, but there is an elitefts competition bench that one of the powerlifters brought in.
Unfortunately there are a lot of idiots coming in and damaging or abusing some of the equipment; so the owner keeps the J hooks with him so no one messes up his bench.

I gottcha ihab. This makes sense to me I guess. Glad you got an elitefts competition bench.

Definitely call Matt Goodwin.

And, it doesn't sound like you have an equipment problem as much you have a member problem.

Not sure how you can damage an upright of one of our benches.

A more difficult but more beneficial approach may be to reduce the number of idiots.

Pick the king of the idiots at your gym and kick him out. The other idiots will either get pissed and leave with him or understand the benefit they have of being a part of something.
