I just saw your answer about catching the clean for football, and I thought of a question. Do you prefer to have football players perform power cleans for the presumably more explosive, higher pull or full, Olympic-style cleans?
I prefer the Hang Clean. When I do have them do Power Cleans I don't care how they catch it (low or high) just as long as they catch it.
I'm training athletes not Olympic lifters. I care more about the triple extension than I do the depth of their catch.
