I've had a Metal Ace squat suit for about 2-3 years now. I've used it in 5 meets plus training at least twice a month. I was just wondering how long they last and when I should think about replacing it.
They typically last up to 3-4 years if they're taken care of. I've had mine for nearly 4 years now and it's still doing what it's supposed to do. As long as you're not storing it away wet or in direct sunlight you should be good for another year or so, but do inspect it from time to time to check for any blow-outs, frays or tears just to be on the safe side. But that goes for any gear in my opinion, no matter how old.
