I could use some advice/help. I wrote a book (non-fitness related) which is currently in Word document format, and I want to turn it into an ebook product I can sell online.
However I have no idea how to go about making it into a “real product” (i.e. creating a cover, getting it in the right format, getting a shopping cart and payment set up, etc.).
I know you have written several successful books and I was hoping you could lend some advice.
Thank you in advance for your help!
I have to admit I’ve been very lucky to have people experienced enough to help me. Ken Hicks, the Elitefts Creative Director, formatted and added pics to the M2 Method ebook which made it very professional. My wife, Trinity, did a great job of formatting and adding pics for the 12 Weeks to a Bigger Bench ebook.
The main thing you need to do is make sure to use high-res pics and eventually convert the book from Word to PDF format.
Dave Tate recommended using elance.com where you put your project on the website for editors to bid on, which may be your best bet.
I hope this helps. Good luck with your ebook!
Thanks for the question.,
