I've been getting lot of different answers regarding how to make weight, which has left me confused. Some say sweating it out. Some say no carbs. Then most say water cutting. I figured I'd ask someone who has more experience with competing and making weight than some random guy on a forum.
I'm competing this Saturday. The meet has a 24 hour weigh in so I plan to weigh in at 10am on Friday. I hope to compete in the 165lbs class however my current body weight is 169lbs.
With just Monday - Thursday to work with, what can I do to help me lose at least 4lbs without losing strength?
What I have done so far is cut carbs by 20g and added those calories to my fat intake. Protein has remained the same. With this "method" I have maintained my weight of 169lbs for at least 2 weeks.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Seeing that you are already this close to your weigh ins. I would suggest getting some dandelion root and exlax. Starting the dandelion root today and the exlax on Thursday. You should have no problem making weight.
