As a competitive powerlifter entering my 40's and accumulating injuries I have decided to hang up my singlet and focus on longevity and physique development. I am following your Push, Pull, Legs template from last years MAW e-book. My questions are how long should I follow the template as written? Also, would it be sufficient to simply swap out movements for each macro-cycle(ie; belt squats for leg presses and dumbbell overhead presses for barbell overhead press and so on).

I'd run it for 4 weeks, then change up movements like you listed (change movements every 4 weeks or so, and during that 4 weeks aim to improve on strength via more weight or more reps with each).
