When you train in the early AM like you sometimes do (5:30 am) what does your pre workout meal look like?
Also when you were doing metabolic pump and explosive complexes at night a while back how did you change these from week to week? Did you use intra carbs during both your AM and PM sessions?

When I train in the early AM I don't have a pre-workoout meal. I simply use 3-4 servings of Plazma and begin drinking them 30 minutes before I get to the gym. Thus, I'll have ~75 grams of carbs and 30 grams of protein in my system by the time I hit my first working set.
The PM metabolic pump and explosive complexes that I did last Spring stayed the same based on which primary or secondary workout in which they were paired. I was dieting at the time so I think I only used 1 serving of Plazma and 1 serving of Mag-10 for these workouts. They were typically shorter workouts anyway...lasting maybe 25-40 minutes. The short answer is yes - I used intra-workout carbs for both AM and PM sessions, but less for PM complexes.
