I have asked a couple of questions on basic nutrition and training and guess I would like to see how this particular issue might apply.

I throw up a lot, it is caused (I believe, it is not 100% clear) by a drug that I was on for many of my formative years that has lasting effects (I was on a very high dose for a longer time than most so have exaggerated effects).

I throw up often in the morning, often after training hard, and occasionally after over eating, overall maybe 5 or six days a week. I was wondering what would be a good strategy to offset the catabolic state this puts me in. My general strategy has been to wait maybe 30-40 minutes (until my stomach has settled) and slam a protein shake to make up for it a bit. Just wondering if anyone has any more advice to add, or maybe I am already doing what I can.

Side note: I am currently trying to gain weight so anything in line with that goal especially helps.

Thanks to everyone

Chris,

I would highly recommend you get to a doc.

best,
Josh Bryant
