Hey Josh,

I'm currently following the Ben Graves powerlifting routine outlined in your book, with the minor modification that I do heavy OHPs before close-grip benching on Day 3.

Recently close-grip benching has started to injure my shoulders, and I've found I no longer can bring the bar down all the way to my chest without severe discomfort. I am very long armed, so I've started looking into doing Close-Grip benching off a 3 board; triceps strength is something I've always needed to work on.

What would be a good way to include close-grip board work on this day ? My main issue is that I don't know how to program the lift, most people say board work is for triples only for overload, but I'm unsure if it's a good idea to do reps on it or stick to doubles and triples.

I would just keep the rep scheme as is and adjust the weight many bodybuilders I have trained have immensely benefited from high rep board work
