I've been having a little problem lately in that when I'm really tight and setup for the benchpress my glutes(usually one side) cramp up during the last reps and this carries on throughout training. Any advice would be appreciated (maybe weakness in that area?)

This is a great problem. It means you have good leg drive.I Would start with a easy glute stretch and some soft tissue work with a lacrosse ball. 1-2 10 seconds stretches and 15 seconds of rolling against a wall should do it. A hip flexor stretch will help too.
