My arch when bench pressing SUCKS. What can I do to hep improve this?
Way back in the day I used to do back bridges. I couldn't imagine doing them now, but they really helped then. I'm sure I kept a lot of the arch as a result.
If you are tight in the thoracic area of your back, just start with some simple cat/camel stretches. Keep trying to build up the flexibility in your back.
Also, I have seen people put pvc under their back when benching. They start with a small diameter piece and then just keep working their way up.
Lastly, a great arch has a lot to do with setup. Send me a video if you want me to critique it.
