Have a bench shirt still not broken in I would like help on how to break the shirt in using 5/3/1 . It was a had down didn't fit the previous owner


I personally wouldn't use 531 in gear. Lots of reps and it will wear out your gear fast.

Use 531 to get stronger and singles, doubles, and triples for the shirt.

The key is to wear it and wear it often. 5 week stretches are good for.consistency. do your 531 work and then put the shirt on. I like full range singles. Make 25lb jumps until you touch. Once you touch make a plan from that that involves work in the 85-90% range for the next 5 weeks. Your plan should have multiple low rep sets your technique.
