Hey guys I strained my pec over two weeks ago and still can't bench on it however I can press on the chest press machine with almost no pain. I don't want my squat and dead to go down while I'm hurt how could I program around this doing what I can do? Any advice/template would be very much appreciated. Thank you
Can you video your bench technique to us? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it is flawed. The machine puts your elbow in a good position (maybe) and you might be flaring your elbows during your bench.
You might also NOT be pulling the bar apart while you are benching.
No way to tell without a video. BUT, if you can do one thing without an issue, I think you might be off on the technique.
If you choose to answer this...reference it for me? I'm not keeping things orderly these days.
