I just got my metal ipf king squatter (v type) in and squatted in it today. The fit is extremely tight 44 hips,48 suit). With the straps up, it felt like it bound up at about a quarter squat. Question is will the suit stretch out some as I break it in or do I need to have it altered. I'm 5'11240 and haven't worn gear in about 9 years to give a little background
A size 48 suit is for someone around 175 - 198. I'm impressed if you were able to get it on all the way at 240.
With 44" hips/pelvis you should be wearing a size 52 squat suit, IMO.
Send the suit back and exchange it, but it must be free of any liniment, chalk, smell or anything of the sort for them to do an exchange.
Call Ronda or Casey at the office if you have any questions about a return.
I will persist,
