Mark,

Just wondering what is the average time frame of your workouts? Could you possibly give a run-down of them? I'm always looking at your training log to get new ideas on movements, tempos, etc. I love the shoulder triple movement (medial delt, rear delt, overhead press) type of days. Definitely have added some variety and stimulation to my workouts. Thanks for everything you do!

Hi Derrick,

Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoy my training log. As a loose rule of thumb this is the typical time it takes me to complete each workout:

Primary Legs - 1.5 to 2 hours
Secondary Legs - 1 hour
Primary Chest & Shoulders - 1.5 hours
Secondary Chest & Shoulders - 1 hour
Primary Back - 1 to 1.5 hours
Secondary Back - 1 to 1.5 hours
Arms - 1 hour

The primary workouts tend to vary as John ramps volume up and back down, whereas the secondary's usually last about an hour. I train by myself 90% of the time; not so much by choice but because nobody wants to push iron at 5:30AM, lol. Anyway, training alone I tend to move at a little faster pace than if I have a training partner.

Hope this helps,
Mark Dugdale
