Hi Dave. Hope all is well. In a non meet cycle, how often do you put on a bench shirt and squat suit. I know you wrote a book about powerlifting. Does your book address this question in more specific terms. Thanks
I do mention it in regards to meet training, but in the off season, I will probably suit and shirt up about every 4-6 weeks, just to maintain a feel for my gear. These sessions are technical in nature, so I'll keep the weights to about 85% or so. Once I'm in a meet cycle, I'll suit up every 4 weeks (and use briefs the rest of the time unless going light), and shirt up every 2 weeks (once to boards, once full range).
