I am having trouble breathing into my abdomen during heavy squats. With lighter weights it seems like I can breath into my stomach and really get tight. I was wondering if there are any tricks or cues for this problem? Thanks
Try putting a Belt on and setting it a little tight around your belly button.
Take a big breath in and make sure your belly expands in to the belt, don't let your chest rise.
Try to push the air and your belly button down as low as you can, hold your air and squat.
This usually works quickly to get people to do it right.
