Hey gang, I know that all federations are going to differ, but I was wondering if you could give me an idea of a safe type of legal knee sleeve to purchase for squats. I know there different thicknesses (5mm, 7mm etc), and I was just wondering what would be the safest bet to buy that would more than likely work for most feds. Thanks!
If you are looking to compete raw with knee sleeves you will need something that is made of neoprene. The sleeves that we sell that are made out of knee wrap material are not allowed in this case (but they are GREAT to train in or use if you want to compete w/ wraps but are trying to work your way towards them..or if you compete equipped).
Here are the sleeves that we sell that would be approved in most of these cases:
Rehband Original 7051 Knee Sleeves
Metal IPF Knee/Elbow Sleeves
TK Bands (Tommy Kono)
