Hey EFS,

this is for someone with rehab kowledge.

A friend of mine complaied about a sharp ellbow pain doing Dips. After that and up to today (1week later) it still hurts on any extension movement.

Before that, there was no pain at all. First i thought it is tondonitis, but that comes usually more gradually over time, right?

So do you have a clue what that could be?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

J

Boy it could be a few things. A strain, a sprain, a complete tear. Or a ruptured tendon. Or even a mix of muscle and ligamentous injury.
I really think he needs at least one doctor visit and an x ray. I can only guess over the internet. Its easier if I have the arm in front of me.
It could be as simple as some myofascial work or even surgery, there's just no way to tell.
Good luck.
