Vacation- Europe Backpacking 09!!!

Final Training Session before Vacation

Monday- Bench Press- 8/17/09

Was going to go for triples at 280, but I think the 11 sets of triples at 265 last week really wore me out. On rep 3 with 280 I felt a little crunch in my left shoulder...not good. But no pain...which is very good. Went for a pitiful 225 rep max and came up with a dismal ten reps. These days, I find it harder to bench without a pause than touch and go. Funny.

Made sure to get my deltards and bicepts all pumped up for Europe.

As I write this, I've got laundry in the wash. I still haven't packed, but I'm only bringing a backpack and staying in mostly hostels, so I feel okay about my lack of preparation. I'm bringing a jug or protein powder and some nuts...the rest of my sustenance will consist of local foods and alcoholic beverages.

The official plan is London, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Ibiza, and back to London. I'll be back on the 30th of August, and probably won't be posting on here until then.
