Squat- Wave 1/Week 3- Video

On rep one of the squats, the bar rolled up my neck and threw me off a little. I think this got me out of the groove a little bit for the subsequent reps.

You can clearly see the increased knee flexion here, and I can definitely "feel" it more in the knees. I'm starting to feel more comfortable handling moderately heavy loads with the new technique though.

One strange thing that I notice is I feel that my capacity to grind through a squat is a little bit diminished with the high bar position. Like once I give out, I don't have a whole lot of "reserves" to tap into.

The ab wheel was bothering my left hip flexor so I stopped a few sets early. Strength on the GHRs was garbage today. Even the slightly increased load on the GMs really makes it a bit tougher and I think it fried the hams a little. Mmmm...fried hams.


Just got done watching the "Lord of the Rings: Two Towers" for the first time. A week ago, I had never seen any of them, and after watching the first, I was pretty disappointed. But this one lived up to the expectations and was well worth watching.

I also discovered a show called "Strangers with Candy"...I think that the lead actress, Amy Sedaris, is perhaps one of the funniest female comedic actors I've ever seen.
