TPS Training Day
It was a great day. A huge thanks to everyone that showed up. I didn't get a final tally, but it looked like there were about 20 guys and girls.
There were some great highlights that all deserve mentioning. I was focused on my training, so I didn't keep up with everyone's lifts, but I believe there were a bunch of PR's.
Vincent hit a strong and easy 705 in a shirt with sleeves like a t-shirt. We pinched 2 inches out of it before we got to his arm. The collar was off his chest when he finished the lift. Just awesome power.
TT hit a fast and smooth 805. He had more in him, but he shut it down. He is so proficient in the shirt.
Chris popovich hit a raw PR of 455 and had 10-15lbs left in him.
A former client of mine from Greenwich, Cristin Oliva hit a 155lb bench. Her bext as of a month ago when I left Greenwich was 135, barely. And, I mean barely.
I know a few guys had some technique tweaks and were able to hit some good numbers.
We helped our resident Guatamalan, Carlos, touch and press 405 in a shirt that he couldn't touch 455 in. Lesson learned.
The atmosphere was awesome. I felt like everyone did a lot of work and really got some stuff done.
A huge thanks to everyone who came out. It was a great day and great to train with you all.
