Man, what a pitiful workout. Basically, I just wanted to do something to justify it being a medium day.
Last night was New Years. I got to see one of my best friends from college that I haven't seen in 2 years. Was great seeing him, but unfortunately I crapped out around 1AM. Felt like I wanted to crawl in a hole and die. Thankfully my buddy and his girlfriend were tired too, so I didn't feel like I was dragging them down.
I stayed at my parent's house last night and basically didn't leave the entire day. They have a building gym with some dumbells up to 60lbs and treadmills. I left for 30 minutes to go to the grocery store and then headed back home.
Sunday is a high carb day and I can't wait for it. It'll be the last bit of fun before the big push towards the end.
Then 6 days later, I get a nice sodium load in the form of pizza the night before the competition. I haven't had pizza since I started the diet (will have been 4 months) and I've decided that I'm going to pick up from the best place in NYC; Lombardi's. It's the first pizza place that opened in NYC. I'm going with a 14" with basically every topping they have.
