Deadlift- 17 Days Out

17 Days Out from Raw Unity Meet (DL Only)

1/4/10- Wednesday

Bodyweight- 180lb (of bloat)

AM fasted cardio- Very light 45 minutes of incline walking

--- few hours later ---

1)Deadlift
250x5
300x5
350x3
400x1 (belt)
450x1 x1 x1

2)Glute Ham Raise (roller pad model)
5kgx8 x10 x10


My legs still felt very fatigued from the bodybuilding show. And I'm still bloated as hell. Wanted to work up to a 90% of my projected max of 500lb, since that's the least that I want at the meet in the 165lb class.

The top weights didn't feel too easy, but I'm clearly fatigued and recovering from the dehydration, depletion, and all that crap. I'm hoping that as I de-bloat and regain my strength, I'll meet at 175lb or below and have the ability to hit that 3x BW (at the least) at 165lb.

In my last deadlift session before the bodybuilding show, which was 2 weeks out, I know I had the strength for it, so it's just a matter of resting up and letting myself get back to where I was.

Too bad being bloated doesn't help with the deadlift. We'll see what happens with bench tomorrow.
