5b)Bent Over BB Row (prone grip) 145x10 x10 150x8 155x9
This was my first lifting session back from the Raw Unity Meet. This is the first week of the 10 week program that I am doing online through Rick Hussey at Big Iron Gym.
The volume is quite a bit higher than anything I've done in many months. And it's my first time doing back and deadlift on the same day in probably 5 years or so. I have a feeling my abs, glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and midback are going to be shot tomorrow. (They ended up being so)
Felt unbelievably out of shape in regards to deadlift strength, but this should start catching back up again in a few weeks. Also, I had to lift at Peak, where I can't dump the barbell on deadlifts, which made them all the more difficult. It just tends to be a little tough scheduling-wise because I feel that I need a solid 3 hour gap between my afternoon and evening clients to get crosstown to the other gym, lift, come back, and eat, change, and (hopefully) shower.
Looking forward to seeing what's next.
