Saturday Squattin

Worked out at EFS on Sasturday. Had a bunch of stuff going on at home on Friday, and was glad to get away for a day to do some training and other things of that ilk. Went like this:

100 Jumps

Foam Roller
Hips, IT Bands, Quads Back

Static Stretching

Free Squat Rawdog
bar x10
595x1 (added belt after)
645x1 This wasn't an all time PR, but it went up very fast. probably good for 700 or so right now. Without going into great detail, Im happy with where this is right now.



Deadlift off of 4 mats rawdog
655x1 (belt on for this one) Stopped here. This wasn't a hard pull, but it was by ne means easy. My hamstrings were demolished, and I decided it would be a good place to stop. Lower back felt pretty good, and this is the first time I have pulled anything quasi respectable since I hurt myself twice in the same day a couple of weeks ago.

Was good being in the gym squatting with Ted and the Weekend guys. Mello was there squatting by himself using about 20000 lbs of chains. Im pretty sure he said he was doing it because he likes the noise they make banging off of the monolift. Im not 100% sure on that. Molly is still rehabbing her knee, but did get some squats and stuff in. John is still taking time off from his lifting at the Ironhouse. Rest of the guys were in too, as well as the new girl. She is strong as fuck, especially considering she has no experience. She worked up to 240 for a double at about 155-160, and had, before Saturday, never squatted in a monolift before. Pretty impressive.
