Tuesday SQ/DL Accumulation Assistance

Before any of you jump on me for this, let me say that I know, for now, it isn't optimal. Im going to have one day where I do most of my assistance work, and another day where I do my squatting, pulling, and some other assistance work. Right now, its not feasible for me to get to EFS through the week and get this done. So, for now, most of my squat and deadlift assistance is going to be tuesdays after work at the Capital Club, and the big stuff will go down on Fridays or Saturdays. here is how the assistance work went last night

Jumprope
125 jumps

Foam roller
upper and lower back
hips
Quads
IT bands

Static Stretching
Quads
Hamstrings
Groin
Hip Flexors
Glutes

1 Neutral Grip lat Pulldowns
240x6x12

Following pairings were done for 6 sets of 12 reps each

2A Seated Calf Raise - 2plates
2B DB Shrug - 95lbs

3A Seated Adductor Machine - 100lbs
3B Seated Abductor Machine - 100lbs

4A Leg Extension - 100lbs
4B Seated Leg curl 120lbs

This was done in 47 minutes. Pace was an ass kicker, but I'm getting better at it.

Also, I don't know if you guys read Juliet Deanes log, but she posted some bullocks about running a mile for time, and seeing how awesome you are. Being the idiot that I am, I decided that last night was as good of a time as any to do it, so I walked for 5 minutes on the treadmill, and started in. 9minutes and 37 seconds later, gasping for breath and praying my calves and shins would stop burning, I finished. Absolutely pathetic. I'm going to try it again next week too. Only bright side of that time is that i don't think its possible for it to get ANY worse.

As an aside to this, I am DONE READING her log, and will only peruse for pics and videos from now on. Jesus that sucked.
