585 x1 shazzzzzzzzzzzzzam I'm being stupid but it actually did help. I bought it for one of my training partners for his birthday and after I missed 585 the first time he told me to try it.
Drop set super close grip off chest with the chain setup
Dumbbell palms in extensions
added monster mini around back
added light band
225 sets x10
That's all I think my old Pr with that set up is 585 so I'm not that far off, my strength levels are still down but I felt pretty good tonight. I found out today that I am going on night shift next week so that should be interesting. It's going to totally mess my training schedule up but I was told it's only for a couple weeks.
As far as the sling shot, its a great tool for overloading the top portion of your lift. Equipped lifters should take advantage of exercises and tools that overload the top. I usually miss a weight at the top, and exercises that work the upper range of motion make me stronger. I love adding bands for dumbbell presses and extensions for this reason.
