Last Night/This morning Deadlifting with VIDEO

Well, Tuesday was upon me, and so was deadlifting. Have I mentioned its spring break? Needless to say that after laying in bed until 1pm, then playing video games all day, it took me a while to get motivated to go. finally made it to EFS at about midnight and put some work in. Got on the scale first. Weighed in at a MASSIVE 281. It took me forever to get warmed up. Probably 40 minutes before I didnt feel like a complete turd. This wasn't due to the time, but the 16 hours in a car from this weekends road trip. My hips and lower back were NOT happy with me, and didn't mind letting me know. Warmup went like this:

5 minutes stationary bike
Foam roller all over
Static Stretching
Foam rolling
Tiger stick
More stretching
Lat Pulldowns 3x12
45 degree back raises 3x12

Finally loosened up, I started in. As its been the last few weeks, pulling from the floor


The 685 took me 2 tries to get. Actually three. You can see in the video Ive got a shit ton of electrical tape on my hand. This is to cover up the still open hole were I tore off a big callous 2 weeks ago. The bar wouldn't stick in my hand at all with it on there. The first try barely broke the floor. The second, immediately after, almost locked out and ripped out of my hand and hit me in the shin. Tired of dumb shit, I threw on the pajama pants and straps and pulled it for a double. I think that this is a PR double, and I know it is at this body weight. Then I went to Block Pulls

These are moving along surprisingly well. The 745 moved very well, and I hope it signifies good things for my deadlift. Will know in 7 weeks or so.

4 sets until I dropped it.

2 scoops anaconda and 5g leucine
2 footlong roast beefs from Subway
2 Pepsi throwbacks
3 cupcakes from the hotel in PA. These cupcakes are absolutely amazing. So good. Hand delivered to my room, and didn't cost me a dime. KICK ASS. Wish I had some more of them for sure. I may call around and try to get some more, as these need to be a staple in my diet. I'm not even kidding. AWESOME.

Very solid training session for sure. Seems that Brian does indeed know whats going on with this weightlifting stuff. Im feeling pretty strong, and completely healthy, aside from what I jacked up in the car. I don't feel beat up from training at all.Liking that aspect as much as anything, especially considering I havent been handling these kind of weights in 8 months or so. This far out, I like where I am at with everything, except for this hand, and I would like my bodyweight to be a bit higher. Ill take what I can get though. 281 will make it easy to get to 275 if I should feel the urge. ALso, heres the video, if you want to see me rocking some sweet pajama pants and kicking ass
