Client meet results: Daniel Dalenberg

Dan PR'd on Squat, bench and total (he missed a 20lb PR dead on his last attempt) and he went 8-9 for 1630 at 235.

I worked with Dan for the 10 weeks leading up to this meet.

**Note - Dan's best squat in 2ply gear, was 710 about 1 year ago. He did this meet in just knee wraps.

From Dan:

Brian's programming for this meet was great! I had an awesome day, going 8/9 and surpassing all of the goals that I had set for the meet. All three lifts came up nicely, surprising me on meet day. I was extremely happy with how things turned out and will continue to have Brian set up my training. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help getting ready for a meet.

Weighed in at 233 on an empty stomach the morning of the meet, pretty much right where I expected to be.

Warmups felt and looked like shit. Usually do, takes me pretty much the entire warm up session to get used to the monolift again. I'm used to that feeling now though, so it doesn't worry me.
Opened at 600, easy lift, 3 whites.
630- This was a way better lift than my opener, finally really comfortable under the bar.
660- Ted wrapped my knees for this one. We started that a little late and I almost timed out (since when does the SPF enforce that rule??). Setup was awesome, depth felt good. This was a great squat.

365- It's a good thing I held on to this one, probably would have put it through the ceiling.
390- Good. Put me in very good shape for 1600.
410- Little slower but still a very solid lift. Setup was tight. Very happy with this.
Dave gave me shit right after the 390. Said he thought I had a lot more than 410 in me, and he was right. Also gave me a hard time about lifting raw, until I told him I am raw-gear whore and like monolifts and wraps.

530- got the 1600
560- setting up for a 600 third, little slow.
600- Missed it at the knees, weight got out in front of me.

Great meet, good venue and Ted was a huge help. I have video of bench and deads, once it gets sent to me, I will forward it along. Thanks again Brian, I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Look forward to seeing you break 1700 at pro-am,
Brian Carroll
