5/18 Deadlift and Diet with video

Here was a rundown of my eating, training and working from yesterday...

Breakfast-7:30 am
8 Pieces of Turkey Bacon, 3 Packets of Instant Oatmeal (Apple Cinnamon), 1 scoop of peanut butter, 1 banana

Pre Training-8:30 am
Biotest Surge Workout Fuel 4lbs 2oz

Training-8:45 am-10:15 am

1) Deadlift

640x3, felt pretty smooth

2) Deadlift, touch and go with 1 minute rest between sets

505x7 sets of 4 reps

3) Defecit Pulls from 3" mats


4) Bentover Rows


5) GHRs

25 pounds x3x4

6) Shrugs


7) Special Exercise

8) Wide Leg Situps

3x8 with 10 pounds behind head

Post Workout-10:30am
4 Scoops of Juggernaut Muscle Growth Formula

I really like this stuff. 4 Scoops gives me 60g of protein, 55g of fast acting carbs, 8 g of fats, 8g of creatine and 8g of leucine and it tastes great.

Trained Clients from 10:30-12, group of NFL/College Linemen, these guys are great. Really happy with one of my athletes who is a freshman center for a local junior college. He has put on 24 pounds this offseason (since mid December) and improved his lifts from BP-295>385 and SQ-365x3>545x1, he has also added 2" to his vertical and brought his 20 yd shuttle down from 4.58 to 4.40. This past week he did 28 reps of 225 pounds at testing for his college.

Lunch 1-11:30am
Pasta with peppers and 6 turkey meatballs

Trained Clients from 12-1:30, another great group of 10 BJJ athletes who are preparing for World Championships in early June. This group is full of STUDS. We have a real chance to bring home 5 weight class golds at worlds and a great shot at absolute titles in both purple and black belts.

Got treatment on my elbows and chest from our Chiros at Paradigm Performance Chiropractic. They did a little ART and Graston. I get these treatments done over my whole body 3-5x/week.

Lunch 2-2:30pm
Grilled Chicken Breast and 2 Sweet Potatoes

Trained Athletes from 3:30-4:45
Awesome high school volleyball girls, gonna be some badasses in there.

3 Scoops of Juggernaut Anytime Shake

Great shake. Blend of Casein and Whey, essential fatty acids, greens mix, vitamins & minerals and digestive enzymes.

My last group of the day went from 5:30 to 6:45 and was a group training session that had some volleyball players and some water polo guys. Several who are gonna be at D1 schools in the fall and a couple others who will be in the years to come.

Finished off the day at a sushi place, but my 24 hour carb window had come to a close, so I was all over chicken, shrimp, short ribs and veggies. They have sweet happy hour deals, so I ate a lot to say the least.
