7/4 Squat

1st and what will be the only bad day of this training cycle. I knew I didn't have a weekend that was conducive to good training and it showed. Saturday morning we spent 5 or 6 hours rearranging the gym and bringing equipment over from a satellite facility we had. This was pretty taxing. Then Saturday night, I and 30 friends celebrated my 25th birthday at my friends' concert. They play in an awesome 80s hair metal cover band and we partied til about 4am, needless to say the evenings debauchery wasn't helping me today. I'm frustrated with myself for letting this take away from my training, but my friends and I also had a great time, so...

1) Squat-Up to 805x0, at this same point in last meet's training cycle I did 765x1, when I planned on doing it for a triple. I then went on to squat 865 at the meet, where I had planned to go to 850. I'm going to stay the course here and over the next month go up to 875x1 in the gym, in plans of making 935 at the meet.

2) Squat-635x3x3 with 90 seconds rest

3) SSB Dead Squat-Up to 615x1

4) Abs
