Another Fun Sunday: VIDEO
I really didn't think that I'd have a good day. The pressure is starting to get high on the deadlifts. According to my plan the next several weeks will be INTENSE even though I have the option to pull singles, doubles, or triples if I want.
Once Stathis got there, it didn't take long for us to start smack talking and get things going. I didn't get it on video (I know Steve Pulcinella is amazed) but the quote of the day from Stathis had to be right before one of his sets when he stood up and yelled like a pissed off Moses on top of the mountain "He's not even a Son Of A Builder!".
My plan was to just get the minimum done and get home to the bottle of Herradura Anejo Tequila my wife bought me (special order item) Saturday night. Surprise all the way around.
Deadlifts with 55 lbs chain warm ups 730.5 + 55 lbs chain x 3...PR (and messed me up, as of Tuesday night I'm still messed up) ...eyes crossed, bled from random places
Strict Axle (in KG) warm ups 55x3 65 x 3 75 x 3 85 x 3 95 x 3 105/231 x 3 115/254 x 2...PR
Atlas Stones (no tacky) to 62 inches ...from 4-5 Meters away 230 x 1 265 x 1 345 x 1...easy...PR?
GHR BW x 6 Light Band x 6 Light + 10kg x 8...PR
ABS BW x 6 10kg x 6 light band x 8...PR
Got home, ate some quick food and I was in no shape to drive. My head hasn't been right since the deadlift... It really is something that I hope everyone experiences after a heavy deadlift. Chain Suspended Good Mornings have left me in a similar state as well.
Spent the next 5 hours moving things into our new house and chasing my son around. That dude woke up at 7:30 and the video I'll post is him at 9:00 at night!
Late Sunday night...very late...I had a nice glass of straight tequila. Man, that is about the best drink I've ever tasted.
