Last Weeks Training
Sorry for the delay guys. Trying to get re accustomed to working full-time, taking 17 hours, and getting every thing else done that I need to do. My training times have been all over, ranging from starting at 8pm to midnight or sometimes later. Talked to Wendler some about my training for this upcoming meet, and came to a realization. I can't train in gear like I need to, so I am going to do it Sam Byrd style. Work my programming raw, and throw the gear on at the meet. I feel comfortable enough in it, and dont feel like I need to "learn" it. I've been doing training long enough. I know whats going on with it.
The last week has consisted of me getting some raw maxes so I have an ideas where I need to put my training weights for the last 4 weeks before the meet. The squat went pretty well, considering I havent squatted very heavy without gear in a long time. It went like this:
670x1 This is where I stopped. It moved pretty well, slight technique break, but was what I would consider to have been 90%. I could have done 2 reps here, but not 3.

725x0 This was awful. The 710 went very well. I figured that 725 would have been pretty solid weight to pull, and I missed it horribly. Got to my mid shin, then nothing. Not sure why, but it was awful. I cant remember for sure, but I think that the 710 may be a rawdog PR. I really need to start keeping track of this stuff somewhere.
