ME squat/dl took the day off felt like shit. just need a rest

speed bench 9x3 225 w/mini

4board w/mini worked up to 365x5 close grip

side lat raise 3x15 45lbs DB

face pulls 3x15 150lbs

push downs 3x15 100lbs


7/1 DE squat
speed squats 8x2 straight weight
2x2 415, 2x2 465, 2x2 505, 2x2 555

bent rows worked up to 365x8

shrugs worked up to 635x10

GHR 3x15

straight leg sit-ups 3x10 155

7/2ME bench
put on my bench shirt to see where i'm at.
warmed up to 405 no shirt.
500x1 shirt high
550x1 shirt pulled down bar didn't touch
605x1 shirt same place bar didn't touch missed by an inch.
650x1 smoked it!!! thats 10lbs over my best meet bench
jumped to 700 missed grooved it a little on the way down. tried to corrected and almost did but the boys took it. we all agreed that if i hit the groove i have a good shoot at making 700.

DB cleans 3x20 25lbs

push downs 3x15 100lbs

7/4 ME squat/DL
pulled sumo from the #2 pin w/mini bands doubled worked up to 635x1 strong maybe have 25-30 more

inverse leg curls 3x10

decline sit-ups 3x12 120lbs DB

starting to feel very strong. i think i'm finally learning how to use a bench shirt. 650 was a joke. 700 was too big a jump, but i don't think it's too far away. my DL is starting to come a round i'm learning how to keep my hip under me so the bar stays tight to my body. i'll keep working at it and we will see what happens.
