Warmup some guys were talking about micha koklyaev's 660lb "no hand squat" so i screwed around and worked up to 450 no hands. That was fun and really hit my low back hard. Im gonna play with these more soon. (Misha's video below for those that havent seen it.)
Sumo DL- up to 700, miss. I rushed it and didnt set my grip. I knew it wasnt set the moment i started pulling and lost it just before lockout. immdediately took it again w straps, and missed again. Not smart... but neither was me trying it a 3rd time, this time conventional, and missing again. We all do dumb things sometimes...
Conv. deficit DL off plate- 355x5, 405x5x4sets Overhead BB press- up to 225x5, down to 185x5,down to 135x5x5sets speed pushups, closegrips, with feet on box- 5 setsx15reps
played around with box jumps for the hell of it. Standing jump to 50" box, couldnt quite get my feet up on it cause im inflexible and wasnt jumping with forward momentum. Nailed with 1 step after a couple tries.
