Friday - Intensification I Week 1 bench

Frisky Five warmup
Bench 455/460/470/480x3
3 board press pinkies on ring 495 3x3
CSR 90 3x12
Band pullaparts 3x12

This was a good night. I was surprised how heavy the weight felt. Then again, I moved some decent weight on Tuesday. I am not used to putting that kind of bench work in twice a week. Also, I recall Frey saying, as did Brian who wrote my program, you should feel pretty beat up during these phases of block training. Well, I am successful in that area.

Getting used to my raw form again. It's been a while. The first few sets just did not feel right. I thought I might have been tucking my feet back too far. So, on the last set with 480 I move my feet forward and it was by far my best set.

It was good to be back with the crew. It had been a few weeks. Everyone had a good night and the mood was very upbeat. The only problem is that Rhodes is f'n with me. He's trying to convince me that I am a 308/shw and I need to embrace it. He's a bad man!
