Week 7, Tuesday night DL training w/Video

Well, last night was finally a bad pull session for me. I was a little off all day, and it carried over to training. Here's how it went:

Warm up

Sissy squat

Sissy box squat

Sissy box squat touching toes

High knees

Butt kicks

Fat man rows and push ups on rack


Hams, hips, groin, glutes, pecs, delts

add suit bottom
straps up
695x1 (slower than usual)
745x0 (miss at lockout)

I was all over the place on the 745. I pulled my hips too low, then rocked forward, corrected, shifted to one side, let my air out, and came to a dead stop just shy of lockout. It was basically terrible. But these things happen, especially on DL. I had a sub par day a while back, but I still got all my reps, this is the first time I've missed something in the gym in quite some time and I'm just going to roll with it. I'll regroup and hit my last pull session focused and ready.

Here's how I finished up:

DB shrugs
80's x25x3 sets

45 degree hyper
BW x20x3 sets

Hammer strength row

That was the end of it. I pulled something in my ass on the 745 pull attempt. I'm sure its not a big deal, but its uncomfortable to say the least.
