Update from the last Month or so of training
Well, at this point, its pretty opbvious that I haven't done much of anything training wise in the last month. There's a reason for it, which I will share in just a second. In the last month, I literally have done nothing in the gym, aside from help run the monolift, spot, and run my mouth in general.
The last workout I posted, on the 16th, was a deadlift workout. As I was training, on the last set of pulls actually, something popped a couple times in my junk elbow. This happens from time to time, so I paid it no attention, and finished what I had planned to do. The next day, I woke up and was in excruciating pain. The ROM had decreased severely, and it was very swollen. Not sure exactly what it was that happened, but it didn't seem severe at the time. Not sure if it was some scar tissue breaking loose, or some of that bullshit bone breaking, but it was bad enough that it was even affecting my squat training. That had NEVER happened prior to this. After that, rather than trying to grind through it and just risk fucking it up worse, I just decided to stop for a bit, and see what would come of it. Rehabbed it just like I did my hip, and it seems to have worked. Time will tell, but Ive been at it the last week, and had no issues at all.
As for the XPC meet, Im obviously not going to be lifting. Taking a month off prior to a meet doesn't make real good for my chances. I'm going to save my money for now, and look to do the Ohio State meet in June, just over 16 weeks from today.
