Last weeks Deadlift Training

Actually got back into training last week. I had some conversations with Brian about his deadlift, and the things Josh was doing for his pull. After some thought, I contacted Josh, and he is going to be programming my deadlift training for the upcoming meet. I will still be using Brians stuff for my squat, as I absolutely LOVE the results I have had with it, both in the strength gains and how much more comfortable I am in the gear, especially once the straps go up. That has always been an issue for me, and Im to the point now that I don't totally go to shit once they go up.

Out of respect for Josh, and the fact that he is giving me the programming for a very good price, I will be somewhat vague in regards to the accessory work that I'm doing. I will say that it is very targeted towards my weaknesses in the pull, and bringing them up. It is a lot of volume right now, but as anyone with a brain can and will tell you, you have to be in shape to get strong. I could rant about this for hours, and imagine that I will at some point, but for now, well, Ill leave it at that. Here is how the main work went:

100 jumps

Foam Rolling
All over

I had been neglecting this, and I finally caved to a little voice in my ear. I feel a ton better for it, and will work on keeping it in. Thank you

Stretching and mobility work
Hips, Hams, QUADS, back, ankles

4" Deficit Deadlift
505x1 15 sets of this with 45 seconds between sets. ASS KICKER

4" Block pull against Quad minibands

Heavy for one million sets

Upper back work
3 sets heavy

Deadlift Variation
3 sets of higher reps

3 sets moderate reps

5 sets weighted

Doesnt look like a ton of work on paper, but I was done after this one. Took me about 30 minutes to get up, change, and head out once I was finished.
